The article explores the impact of BANI environments on strategic planning and decision-making, while also reflecting on their theoretical and practical implications in a constantly changing world. The methodology employed takes a qualitative approach by conducting documentary research and content analysis of the BANI environment, utilizing a Bibliographic Matrix and an Analytical Matrix of theoretical-methodological content. A total of five (5) scientific articles published in indexed journals were examined. In the process of article selection and inclusion, priority was given to documents that provided an updated perspective on organizational activities in contexts of uncertainty and volatility. By focusing the research on conceptions that addressed the challenges and opportunities of environments characterized by complexity and constant change, those articles were selected that complemented and intertwined, providing a more comprehensive and nuanced understanding of organizational dynamics in these challenging contexts. This close relationship between article selection and inclusion enriches the discussion, encourages reflection, and contributes to a more holistic view of how organizations confront and adapt to BANI environments. The categories that emerged from the review encompass diverse dimensions: a) BANI environments, b) Challenges for Organizations, c) Unstable Systems, d) Fears and Uncertainty, e) Unknown and Incomprehensible Environments, and f) Impact of Disruptive Environments. These categories reveal how BANI environments generate unique challenges and opportunities, underscoring the compelling need for change management. Despite their complexity, they also foster innovation and creativity. Hence, resilience and interdisciplinary collaboration can transform uncertainty into a catalyst for growth and evolution, opening the door to a promising future where adaptability and continuous transformation stand as fundamental pillars.
