State of the art in Archival Science and archives - Latin America 2000-2009: general characteristics of scientific production

In recent years research in the area of archives and files in Latin America have been increasing, however it is unknown which are the characteristics of regional scientific production. This research aims to provide a basis for Line Archives, Memory and Society, by configuring routes subject of study and work together. First, some general considerations and conceptual project. Secondly, some general aspects of the collection and analysis of work related to the themes of the project in the period 2000 to 2009. Finally, brief preliminary conclusions on the scientific production in Latin America.
