Plagiarism Policy
Plagiarism and self-plagiarism are strictly prohibited.
Authors must ensure that documents submitted to Revista EDICIC are entirely original. If use theories, concepts, definitions, words or illustrations (figures, graphs, images, charts, tables) from others, these must be duly cited and referenced.
The simultaneous submission of the same manuscript to more than one journal is considered unethical and is not permitted.
Relevant publications that influenced the development of the content of the document submitted to Revista EDICIC must be duly cited.
The Editorial Board of Revista EDICIC performs plagiarism checks by reviewing citations/references and comparing the submitted document with articles, book chapters and papers published in conference proceedings. Plagiarism detection software, in this case iThenticate, is used to check similarity. The maximum acceptable similarity index is 20%.
