Submission Informations

Sending Texts

To send a text to Revista EDICIC, the text must be original, that is, the text cannot have been sent for publication in another Journal or channel/media. Texts can be written in English, Spanish or Portuguese.

All texts must be sent through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform https://ojs.edicic.org/revistaedicic/login. The originals are submitted to evaluation by 2 (two) ad hoc evaluators, with recognized international academic-scientific competence, through the double-blind review method, except in the case of preprints. Texts must be sent for evaluation without identifying authorship, as this information must only be registered in the OJS metadata in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

The Revista EDICIC does not charge any type of text submission fee for authors.

Shipping Conditions

  1. The contribution is original and unpublished and is not being evaluated for publication in another journal, channel or medium.
  2. All authors provided their respective Open Researcher and Contributor ID (ORCID) numbers.
  3. The submission file is in .DOC / .DOCX (Word) or .RTF format.
  4. The URLs of the cited online references were reported correctly, that is, they are updated and active.
  5. The text was prepared based on the Editorial Policy of the Revista EDICIC, more specifically described in the ‘Text Preparation’ Section (https://ojs.edicic.org/revistaedicic/about/submissions).
  6. The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in the 'Text Preparation' Section.
  7. The text was placed in the Revista EDICIC template (.DOCX) (.PDF).
  8. The author guarantees research ethics in all its aspects [correct original text citations, citations from sources used, no plagiarism, no use of artificial intelligence to prepare content]. In the case of using artificial intelligence, the author must reference as defined by the APA standard.
  9. The author sent the copyright letter to Revista EDICIC, according to the model (https://edicic.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Declaration_Author_Copyright.docx).
  10. In the case of multiple authorship, the main author sent the Authorship Contribution Declaration (https://edicic.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Declaration_Authorship_Contribution.docx), as described in Editorial Policy.

IMPORTANT: The Revista EDICIC in continuous flow mode adopts the following publication criteria: each author can have up to 2 (two) articles published per edition at most, single or multiple authorship.

Text Preparation

  1. All texts must be sent through Open Journal Systems (OJS), link https://ojs.edicic.org/index.php/revistaedicic/login. Metadata must be filled in with the paper title (in English, Spanish and Portuguese), name(s) of the author(s), last academic degree, institution where he/she works (affiliation), ORCID number, postal address, telephone number and email. If the author(s) work at more than one institution, they must choose the most representative of them to inform the affiliation.
  2. File Format: The text must be sent in .DOC / .DOCX (Word) or .RTF format.
  3. Language: texts can be written in English, Spanish or Portuguese.
  4. Abstract: must be written in Calibri font, size 11, with single spacing (1.0 cm), with a maximum of 350 words, the content of which must present: objective, theoretical framework, methodology, partial or final results, and partial or final considerations/conclusions. If the original text is in English, it must include the abstract in Spanish [resumen] and in Portuguese [resumo]. If the original text is in Spanish, it must include the abstract in English [abstract] and in Portuguese [resumo]. If the original text is in Portuguese, it must include the abstract in English [abstract] and in Spanish [resumen].
  5. Keywords: a maximum of 6 (six) keywords must be entered. Metadata relating to keywords must be filled in in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Each keyword must be typed separately, when completing the keyword text you must press 'enter' to move on to the next keyword.
  6. Paper Format: all submission types [research articles; review articles; case studies; communications; experience reports; preprints, doctoral and master's consortium; and reviews] must be on A4 paper format.
  7. Page Numbering: do not include page numbers.
  8. Page Margins: all submission types [research articles; review articles; case studies; communications; experience reports; doctoral and master's consortium; and reviews] must respect: top margin=3.0 cm; bottom margin= 3.0 cm; left margin= 3.0 cm; right margin= 2.0 cm.
  9. Text Font: the text must be written in Calibri font, size 11.
  10. Spacing Between Paragraphs: Do not put spaces between paragraphs.
  11. Paragraph Indentation: The text must be indented 1.25 cm at the beginning of each paragraph.
  12. Line Spacing: the text must be written with a line spacing of 1.0 cm.
  13. Organization of Sections: section titles must be written in capital letters (e.g.: ABSTRACT, INTRODUCTION, METHODOLOGY, etc.). Apply progressive numbering to titles (e.g.: 1 INTRODUCTION; 2 THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK; 3 METHODOLOGY; 3.1 Data Collection Procedures; 3.2 Data Analysis Procedures; etc.).
  14. Citations of Works Consulted: Revista EDICIC follows the standards established by APA, 7th edition, for articles written in English, Spanish or Portuguese. The accuracy and veracity of citations from the works consulted to prepare the text are the responsibility of the author.
  15. References of Works Cited in the Text: use the standards established by the APA, 7th edition. The accuracy and veracity of references to works cited in the text are the responsibility of the author.
  16. Explanatory Notes: do not use a footnote, use the ‘insert endnote’ command.
  17. Figures, Graphs, Frames, Tables: use the standards established by the APA, 7th edition.
  18. The text must follow the Revista EDICIC template (.DOCX) (.PDF).
